How fares are calculated

MelaGO fares are made up of a base fare, a per-kilometer rate, and a per-minute rate, all set for your ride type (Regular, Pool, SUV, Black, Black SUV, or EV).

During high-demand periods in a zone, a surge multiplier may apply — you'll always see this clearly on the request screen before you book, and it never changes after your driver is matched.

If you use a voucher code, the discount is applied to your final fare at checkout. Scheduled rides lock in the base rate at the time you schedule, regardless of surge later.

You can always see a full breakdown — distance, duration, base fare, and any surge or voucher — on your trip receipt after the ride completes.
